Idiot Father Photographs Son at School Playground in Full Camo, Ski Mask w/ BB Gun Pointed at School
Normally I think most things like this are over reactions by anti-gun officials who would rather cry zero tolerance rather than actually think for themselves (for instance during pop tart gate).
However, in this case I am putting the blame firmly where it belongs, on the father.
According to WRAL, A Raleigh, NC father photographed his son on a playground, wearing full camo, a ski mask, and pointing a BB rifle (with no sort of orange tip) directly at a school across the street.
That alone, OK, maybe they wanted to do some weird father/son para-military photo shoot at a playground. OK, I guess (pointing a gun, even a BB gun at a school is certainly never OK though).
However, then the photos were posted to an Instagram account with the caption, “When I wake up, the real nightmare begins.”

See, that’s just not promoting responsible gun ownership.
According to the WRAL story, the photos certainly raised the interest of law enforcement, who took action,
Christopher Scott Rossetti, 42, of 8716 Springhouse Lane – the father of the 14-year-old in the photos – was cited for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Police said Rossetti took the photos of his son, who is not facing any charges.
