While the Crimson Trace SFL-100 on the M72 LAW (above) is not new (30,000 of these units are deployed worldwide), Crimson Trace has some new 2013 products which can be attached to your pistol, rifle, shotgun, and many other weapons.

One new model is the LGD-426 which is a red laser and IR sighting system.

U.S. Navy SEALs and British SAS use this dual laser system on Sig Sauer P226s. The one thing that was very noticeable to me was instead of the typical single point of contact to activate the system, there are two points of contact which makes it easier to use.

Your middle finger activates the system when either one, or both, pads are depressed.
The switch on the lower part of the pistol grip is to alternate between the red laser and IR. Up for red laser, and down for IR. On the opposite pistol grip side, there is another similar looking switch to turn the entire system on or off.
Other new products include red lasers for the Beretta Nano, the M&P Shield, and the Springfield XD-S. Also released are new Master Series lasers for J-frame revolvers. Finally, the new Defender Series is a new value-driven line aimed at first time laser owners. Initially, Defender Series lasers are available for Smith & Wesson and Taurus revolvers, as well as Glock, Ruger and XDm semi-autos.
