CNN Anchor Calls Out Colorado Recall Loser For Whining About Voter Supression

After Colorado’s historic recall election saw the ouster of 2 Democrat anti-gun senators, the 2 losing lawmakers have been complaining about voter suppression. Recalled Colorado state Sen. Angela Giron went on CNN this week to talk about the election that cost her her job.
The 2 senators were recalled because of the gun control laws they pushed through the state legislature. Assuming that Bloomberg’s money would help them win the recall and that there were not enough supporters of the 2nd amendment in their districts, the ousted senators are still in shock over the outcome.
“We know what really happened here. Yes, we had the strong NRA and you have a person like Mr. Head, but what this story is really about, it’s about voter suppression,” Giron said.
Giron then went on to complain that most of her supporters vote via a mail ballot and this recall election did not allow for mail ballots. But the CNN reporter was not about to let her get away with that comment.
“OK, forgive me, but I’m going to cut you off right there. Because if we talk voter suppression, I’ve read reports on lack of popularity on your behalf. Let’s just not go there,” CNN’s Brooke Baldwin said.

“People didn’t know what it was about. There was voter confusion,” Giron added. “We didn’t even know what the rules of the game were.”
The truth of the matter is that residents in Colorado were sick of their gun rights being eroded away. There was suppression alright. The suppression of 2nd amendment rights, and Coloradans were willing to send anti-gun lawmakers a message. Now it’s a message that is ringing throughout the United States as lawmakers should be more tentative when trying to take away rights while claiming to stop gun crime.
