Submachine gun K6-92 was developed in the Republic of Armenia, which gained independence in 1991 after the collapse of the Soviet Union and then being in the stage of armed conflict with Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh.Armenia is in desperate need of small arms and machine pistol is one of the simplest and cheapest of the samples. As a result, in 1991-92 Armenian engineers have created a relatively simple machine pistol K6-92, and launched his production on one of the machine-building enterprises of Armenia. Soon a large number of these sub-machine guns across the border fell to Chechnya, where they entered into service of the armed forces, General Dudayev. We also made an attempt to establish a mass production of copies of the submachine gun K6-92 directly in Chechnya, under the name "Hound" ("Wolf" in Chechen), but it failed (it was released a small number of samples). Later in Chechnya in a variety of sweatshops was released a number of primitive and crudely executed submachine guns, also referred to as "dogs", but they are structurally different from the Armenian K6-92, primarily construction receiver. Sub-machine guns K6-92 so far withdrawn by Russian law enforcement bodies of gangsters and terrorists in the North Caucasus and adjacent areas, while in the reports and the reports of these sub-machine guns are often also referred to as "dogs".
Submachine gun K6-92 uses an automatic blowback. Fires from open bolt, single shots or bursts. Selecting the fire is a translator / fuse located on the left of the receiver, above the trigger guard. Receiver submachine gun made by stamping steel folding butt up and down a metal.
